Sadly, the weekend is over ...

For those who did not attend the girls' weekend this past weekend, you missed a fabulous time. It was so great to see everyone and just chill out. Well, we mostly ate. Ha. SO glad we got to do this!

The Big Weekend

So is everyone pumped for girl weekend? I'm super excited. Though I have to admit that I'm totally sad that Leslie can't come. Seriously, that SUCKS! But I'm glad you finally get to move like you've been wanting. :)

So what are the plans? Anyone have any brilliant ideas?

Sara and I will be there all day Friday. Anyone else want to take off work that day? I have a shower that I HAVE to go to on Saturday from 11:00-1:00 (it's in Dallas) but that's the only other thing I have.

Jealous

So I'm sitting here at work on a Monday morning while Sara and Luke are on a cruise ship. I'm insanely jealous.... :(

Update on the Mayos

Well, things are finally starting to come together. James was offered the job with SYSCO. Yay! He starts on April 25th. The first six weeks are training in Lubbock. We haven't decided if we will live with my parents, or just go ahead and get settled in Abilene. We will probably rent a house for awhile b/c we really don't know where we want to settle down permanently. College Abilene is way different than raising a family Abilene. So we'll see....
We got an offer on our house, so we will close on April 27th. The only bad thing is, I don't know how all of this timing will play out in regards to girls weekend!! I guess I'll just have to play it by ear.
Kaitlyn is going great. She got a fish yesterday and said she wanted to name it Gill. (I think it's a Finding Nemo's character name...she watches that a lot). She is obsessed with feeding it and singing to it. In her prayers last night she said, "Deaw Gawd, tank you mommy, daddy, kaikyn (that's how she says kaitlyn), Gill, amen." How cute is that.
Anyway, hope all of you are doing good! Can't wait to see everybody!! Sara W. - are you having a shower any time soon??
